Web & Electronic Indexing SIG
members are encouraged to give presentations about web indexes to local
professional association groups with the aim of educating various professionals
(information architects, librarians, webmasters, usability experts, etc.)
about web site indexes.
You may create your
own presentation or use the Web & Electronic Indexing SIG PowerPoint presentation:
A-Z Site Indexes for Improved Site Searching (pdf)
If you wish to use
this presentation, please contact
to obtain the PowerPoint file.
- If you modify
it only slightly, such as substituting different site index examples,
or editing a few lines, then it should be kept in the ASI Web & Electronic Indexing
SIG name, but you can certainly add your name and contact information
as the presenter.
- If you wish to
make more substantial changes, then you should indicate on the title
slide that the presentation is based on an ASI Web & Electronic Indexing SIG presentation.
- Whether you use
your own slides or a modification of the Web & Electronic Indexing SIG slides, please
keep the Web & Electronic Indexing SIG information and URL.
