Step 1: Join an indexing society

Join the Web & Electronic Indexing SIG (Special Interest Group) via joining one or more of:

American Society for Indexing (ASI) (join)

or affiliated indexing societies:

Association of Southern African Indexers and Bibliographers (ASAIB) (join)

Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers (ANZSI) (join)

China Society of Indexers

German Network of Indexers (Deutsches Netzwerk der Indexer)

Indexing Society of Canada/Société canadienne d’indexation (ISC/SCI) (join)

Netherlands Indexing Network (Nederlands Indexers Netwerk)

Society of Indexers (SI) (United Kingdom and Ireland) (join)

If a person is in one or more indexing societies if one is ASI join via ASI otherwise join as non-ASI via our form above. A member should add all their societies to their profile when they login via membership form below.

Member-ProfileCurrent members may update their member profile which displays on the Member Directory page at any time. Use your e-mail address and password to log in below:

This is the same form as the initial application, but please update your existing record, rather than filling out a completely new form. You may change any information except your e-mail address this way. If you need to change your e-mail address (which is the identifying field in the member database), you must contact Webmaster, the database administrator. Everything else is free for changing at any moment you desire. We used to do this a bit differently before but now, it’s much easier to keep all your personal info up to date as you don’t need to fill in a new form anymore, just change the already existing data.

If you have forgotten your password, go to Forgot Password or request a new one be automatically sent to you by contacting the Webmaster.

At any time you may also choose to add or update your listing in the Contract Indexer Search database. Using your password you may to complete the form below:

Once activated, it will appear in Contract Indexer Directory. If you wish to remove it, contact the Webmaster with your email address.
